1. The Tooth Paste Method
Using toothpaste is a simple home exercise with an easy procedure as follows;
Step 1: Clean the scuffed area to avoid dirt and buffing grits that may worsen the paint if rubbed against the car’s body.
Step 2: Take a soft dry cloth and squirt toothpaste on it.
Step 3: Rub against the scuffed area by making circular moves until the marks are no longer visible.
Step 4: Wipe the area with a soft dry cloth to remove the extra toothpaste residue that may have been left.

2. Clay Lubricant
A clay lubricant is abrasive enough to shear off all rubber scuff types to retain your car’s sparkling paint. Perform the following procedure;

Step 1: Wash the scuffed area with a detergent or soap to remove dirt. Rinse the soap and dry the surface with a clean, soft piece of cloth.

However, the time you would take to restore your car’s paint depends on the depth of the rubber penetration.
3. WD-40 Multi-Use
Although WD-40 Multi-Use is commonly used as a lubricant, it removes light scuff marks and completely restores the car paint. Keenly carry out this procedure;

Step 1: Thoroughly clean the scuffed area to avoid dirt that may worsen the paint job.
Step 2: Apply the WD-40 Multi-Use lubricant and give it a few minutes to react and loosen the scuffed plinths.
Step 3: Wipe the lubricant with a clean, soft piece of cloth to check on the condition of the car’s surface.
Step 4: Repeat the process until the scuffs are no longer visible.
