1. The Tooth Paste Method
Using toothpaste is a simple home exercise with an easy procedure as follows;
Step 1: Clean the scuffed area to avoid dirt and buffing grits that may worsen the paint if rubbed against the car’s body.
Step 2: Take a soft dry cloth and squirt toothpaste on it.
Step 3: Rub against the scuffed area by making circular moves until the marks are no longer visible.
Step 4: Wipe the area with a soft dry cloth to remove the extra toothpaste residue that may have been left.
It’s important to note that this method is highly effective on shallow scuffs that haven’t deeply penetrated the car’s body. Else, contact the body shop.
2. Clay Lubricant

Step 2: Spray the clay lubricant and gently rub against the marks with a clay bar. Spray the lubricant over after a few seconds of rubbing to add a fresh clay surface.

Step 3: If the wipes are stained, use clean wipes until the marks are dislodged, and the car’s paint shines.
5. Magic Eraser Pad
Magic Eraser Pads are manufactured with melamine foam from a compound known as Formaldehyde-Melamine-sodium Bisulfite Copolymer. This makes it a reliable stain remover for many gearheads.

Step 1: Add some little water to dampen the pad. Note, making it soaking wet will downgrade its performance.
Step 2: Gently rub over the scuff marks as you observe the reaction. If the pads are stained, change them and repeat the process until the marks disappear.
